The WBC Middleweight Championship is the affirmative action Title for small men

Good God, even Amir Khan of all people had the opportunity to make "history" by becoming the "lineal" Middleweight Champ, with a belt that is being passed around like a 5 dollar Tijuana hooker, to small men who aren't even Middleweights, and don't want to fight at the full weight limit of 160.

Cotto>Canalo>Khan - and you can be sure had Khan won, one of other Welters would have gotten a Title shot. Ahem* Pacquiao.

I no longer consider Canelo the Lineal Champion. The Lineage has been broken and it's only a formality until GGG becomes crown Lineal and Undisputed Champ, after the belt gets stripped off Canelo.

Yeah, it's affirmative action for Canelo and it was for Cotto too. At least Cotto fought bigger guys than himself though and he squashed both of them.

Well, everyone else will still consider Canelo as the lineal champ.

Perhaps when Golovkin starts fighting people with a pulse he'll become more respected within the boxing community.

Everyones got an opinion and I got one too. The WBC is still the belt to have. Unless you're puerto rican of course. Then your choice would be the WBO. Ricans are very proud people who are very loyal and patriotic so they will always banner the WBO

You mean like Canelo, the guy he's been begging to fight him?

155 is right there if he wants it.

A-side stuff. Sucks but it's boxing.

Sucks that you support it and call out GGG for not moving up in weight but not Canelo for ducking someone in his own division.

Are you actually a boxing fan?

                Who said I support it?

No need to deflect, 155 is right there if he wants it. Question is, does he want it?

                  It's boxing huh?

Can you name another champion (or any fighter at all) who invented his own weight and fought in it 5 times consecutively?

                  It's not boxing it's Canelo

Floyd at his absolute worst never did anything this pathetic

The A-side calls the shots, does this really need to be explained? This is literally nothing new.

Everyone puts their own flavor into it.

For goodness sake, Floyd had a legal pair of gloves barred from being used by his opponent because he has that type of pull. No explanation needed. A-side stuff.

It's pathetic, but it's part of this sport.

If GGG wants the fight he'll lose 5 pounds.
