Congratulations to the Lineal Middleweight Champion

You knocked out a blown up super lightweight with a glass chin at 155 lbs.

You were almost as impressive as lightweight Breidis Prescott.

With this heroic first defense following your defeat of mediocre welterweight cotto who won the title over a 40 yr. crippled man.....

You surely are on a path to all time greatness at middleweight with the likes of hagler, monzon, hopkins.

Can't wait to see who you defeat at 155 lbs. next. GLORY AWAITS.

    Manny Pacquiao at 155 lbs.

Yeah, Chocolatito @160 is the respectful thing to do at this point. Plus he'll be able to get comfortable with a real MW (although Roman tends to tip the scales a bit that chocolate loving mother****er).

Roman gonzo fight will be canelo's 1st fight at 160 limit.

Just to test if he's big enough for 160.

Dude at least pick a lightweight who has a chin.

Or a middleweight with a bad chin.

Don't pick a smaller guy who also has a bad chin.....

All I know is that this was MUCH more entertaining than Pac-Bradley 3 was. Probably did a lot more on PPV too.

That's what happens when you give you a mismatch on paper. At the very least you gotta look for entertainment value and this one was it.

Yeah, and it was also more entertaining than Floyds last ten fights. As fun as it was, this type of thing has to be either a one off, or sandwiched in between big, tough fights.

This can't become the norm for him or he'll lose the respect he's garnered so far. Canelo himself seems genuinely willing to take on all comers, so I see the GGG fight happening if he has any say in it. However, I don't really if that's what gbp want...you would think Oscar understands what it is, and what it means for the fans, to take these bigger, risky fights.
