BUT now Canelo by saying he fears no man he has ba$$s of steal I will kick his a$$ right now forces himself to fight GGG with GGG allowed to be 160. No more marinating excuses next year. He comes in 175 so no weight excuse and he fears no man.

I believed Canelo when he said " I will fight Golovkin at 155 tomorrow ".
But I don't believe a single word Golovkin says.
In this very article, Gennady was quoted as saying that the divisional limit should be respected, and the reasons he gave were..... "I'm old school..... I respect the sport of boxing"..... he did not mention the mandatory, or the WBC catchweight rule..... and yet, Canelo is doing the exact same thing to him that Golovkin did to Ward.
WTF ?
The weight will still be an issue, because that factor is a big deal, and both camps are well-aware that..... Team Canelo have admitted it, but as usual Team Bull**** have lied and are hiding behind fake morals.
They pulled that exact same stunt on Andre Ward, so we already know that they are not concerned with the integrity of boxing..... they are demanding 160 because it benefits them, just like Canelo is doing with 155.
I slightly favor Golovkin at 160, and slightly favor Canelo at 155.
The weight will still be an issue.
The only way to avoid this situation would be for Canelo to drop the belt and fight Golovkin after 1-2 tuneups fights to prepare for 160..... it is Canelo's fault, but the ball is in Golovkin's court.
He said he can do it.
I think Canelo needs ONLY ONE TUNE-UP FIGHT before facing GGG at 160. And that one is vs. Lemieux, at 160. That's all it takes to see if he belongs in the middleweight big league or he is just a bully-coward who can win as long as he is the heavier and stronger guy every time he fights.
Lemieux is very dangerous. He actually did hurt GGG when they fought, but he is so reckless and lacking in defense skills, that he ended up receiving more than what he delivered. I truly believe that Lemieux hits as hard, or even harder than GGG, but the latter is a much better boxer, and his defense skills, although they are somewhat poor as well, are far better than those of Lemieux. But still, just as GGG, Lemieux is capable of knocking out anyone with a single punch.
Bottom line: in September, I'd love to see Canelo-Lemieux at 160 and GGG vs. Lara at 160 as well. I would really, really like to see that big-mouth runner Lara being knocked out, but I'd also like to see GGG fight a boxer Mayweather Jr. style, a guy who will be very, VERY difficult to hit and who will be jabbing his face constantly. Lara could be the first one to make look GGG real bad, just as Mayweather Jr., Lara himself and Cotto to a lesser degree did to Canelo. Oh and Khan made Canelo look bad and clumsy as well, until he as usual, left himself totally open for a brutal right hand and went down unconscious for a few minutes.Last edited by sterilizer; 05-08-2016, 01:13 AM.Comment

Asked about the weight for a GGG fight Canelo said, and I quote: 'I'll fight him at 160.' #CaneloKhan #boxing
