It was a great knock out but that was expected from a guy climbing 2 weight classes. Amir has the balls I wish all fighters had including GGG and Can'tNelo

A pity that people like you exist. You should be demanding the fight at 160, not demanding GGG to bend over.

And it's true in the sense that we will likely NOT see the sport's biggest star make concessions for someone with no marquee names like GGG. It sounds like Canelo doesn't care about the belt and is telling Golovkin he doesn't need him, but to come see him regardless as a man. 155 IS irritating in that he holds the belt but he did it for Floyd no questions asked. There comes a time when Golovkin is going to have to put his money where his mouth is. Everyone is going go watch Canelo, title or not. Hell, Canelo will likely vacate but still try to make the fight. If there is no title on the line, people can't really hate. Canelo doesnt seem to have an issue making weight at all... He's 25. Good luck out lasting him in the wait game...

        Edit:
And King, Ward has technically fought at 160...and mentioned going down for Floyd. GGG isnt the only one to blame in that scenario.

However....GGG needs to get in the ring with canelo. Title or not and stop hiding behind it. Canelo will drop a title out of principle. He's already in the books as the lineal wbc mw champ and he defended it... It no longer matters as he already owns the accomplishment and GGG needs to learn what he brings to the table and unfortunately it's nothing. Bite the bullet man
GGG is already giving Canelo weight advantages. People is starting to know this. Even casual fans. That's why the consensus is that Canelo needs to fight GGG at 160. Only GGG haters and insecure fans want the fight at 155 so they see GGG lose. There's no point in making GGG come down in weight when he's already the smallest guy by five pounds.

You should see things as they actually are, don't be ******. Khan didn't do it for "balls" or for "legacy". He was guaranteed 13 ****ing millions. For 13 millions any fighter not named Floyd/Manny/Canelo would make such a crazy decision.

Once again, HUGE difference bro. Lol.

GGG has never moved up to 168, so he has no obligation to fight Ward at Wards weight. Canelo is a 160lb title holder, his best fight is the other 160lb title holder.... Furthermore, GGG is Canelo's mandatory in said division- so Canelo kind of DOES have an obligation, or incentive to face Golovkin.
Nah. Just another excuse. He wants a catchweight for a tough opponent. But when it's Chavez Jr. then he can go up the full 8lbs.

GGG will either make concessions or he won't. Up to him what he wants to do and if he's content beating on the dregs of the division.

What was that white belt being paraded around the ring during the introductions? Did any one else catch that?
I think thats the belt they gave Cotto when he beat Mayorga, maybe Nelo took it from Cotto

Alvarez legit wants to fight GGG. Chepo/DLH are the ones that don't. Chepo because he thinks GGG will brutalize him, DLH because he believes GGG will end his gravy(coke) train.

Agreed. Ggg says he'll go down to 154 for Floyd. If he Balks st 158 for Canelo I'd lose respect.
