All-star Boxing Canelo/GBP lawsuit and GGG

The timing of all of this is intriguing as apparently after today (Khan-Canelo), the suit will hit the courts and GBP will likely lose Canelo.

If GBP can't make any decisions over Canelo's career as they'll be tied up in courts, would it be surprising if GGG went to PBC/Showtime?

What is making you think GBP is likely to lose Canelo?

I don't know enough about this lawsuit, but f#ck man hasn't Canelo been with GBP a long ass time at this point? If these guys had some legit claim to Canelo how has this taken so long to claim or get to court?

From what I heard GB's just going to lose a lot of money. Canelo will still be able to have his super fights with Pacquiao, Cotto, and Bradley.

GBP wanted to pay All-star off with a settlement. All-star has refused and instead want this thing to go to court.

          That is extremely telling...

Its also telling that this has been going on for almost 5.5yrs from what I can tell. I'd assume ASB would be more likely to get some money damages than they'd get Canelo back. I mean I'd assume that if the legitness of Canelo being with ASB instead of GBP was such a big issue it'd have been decided already cuz thats a pretty big issue & you don't just let a guy be with the wrong promoter for 5.5yrs.

If they wanted money from GBP, they would have already gotten it. They want to go for the jugular...

It sounds like it, but I just don't see them getting a guy back who's not been with them for 5.5yrs. Possession is 9/10th of the law or whatever that saying is lol. I suspect they'll win x millions in damages as their best possible outcome.

I mean GBP has done this **** before so its nothing new. Remember when Manny signed with GBP? Bob killed that **** real quick. It didn't take no 5.5yrs to get that sorted out. The fact this has taken so long makes me believe there is virtually zero chance they could get Canelo back.

From what I understand, GBP already offered an 8 figure settlement and All-star declined.
