Well, since he stepped up his competition, he only KO'ed fighters, who are come forward or pressure fighters. (Kirkland, Angulo, Lopez, Gomez) or have Victor Ortiz level heart (Cintron).

Everyone else who has some kind of lateral movement and cant only fight coming forward, have seen the final round. (Cotto, Lara, Trout, Mosley)

Yea I believe Lopez felt the punches harder from maidana. He puts his whole body into his punches. Canelo takes steam off his punches for more speed and accuracy.
