Chisora has been a nobody for a long time, great to see Pulev given some rounds by the human punchbag. He looked strong as an ox in there, the heavy shots he was landing when the fight was clean and the referee hadn't to break the action because of Chisoa bull rushing, I'm not sure the likes of Fury, Joshua and Parker will be able to stand up to that power. The shots Pulev was putting together were as impressive as he's ever been, I'm surprised Chisora did not quit again like he usually does, he must have hoped he could win a robbery and grab a Joshua fight, he likely still will anyway the Brits will think Chisora was jobbed and he'll be the best name on AJ's record. • Chisora was a force around the time he fought Vitali and it's over 4 years ago now. I hate to say it but David Haye effectively ended him at top level.

        • That fight went as expected. The scorecard for Chisora was terrible.

          • I'm pretty surprised Crolla won tbh but i'm glad he did. Early on it looked like he was really struggling with the power of barroso.

As for Pulev vs Chisora, I wasnt impressed by Pulev at all. Far too much holding from him (which the ref should have done something about). This was a washed up version of Chisora and a few times Chisora still managed to catch and hurt Pulev. Joshua would destroy Pulev and Fury would easily outbox him.

I don't think he looked very troubled at all. He kept a really tight guard, and kept popping out the jab in between Barroso's flurries to keep him honest. Kept his cool under pressure and then began turning up the heat as Barroso tired. Absolutely spot on tactics.

Great fight as well. The atmosphere was insane, and I wasn't even there.

              • It was a very poor card imo, Crolla just about rescued it.
