Even if this wasn't coming from a tabloid, Conor just got rekt by a guy who had 11 days notice. Would anyone be picking him to win?

You actually believe this fight could happen? Anyway I'd pick Conor to beat Berto, but that isn't saying much.

      This is obviously never happening.

If it did, Floyd would stop Conor whenever he felt like it.

        This is ridiculous.

If McGregor beat Nate Diaz I would understand, his hype would have been intact and it would have had a lot of fan interest. But he got whooped, his starpower took a hit. I hope it's not true.

Floyd says he wants to get into MMA promoting. Maybe he is going to try to get Conor on his side or something.

This would sell well to the clueless Boxing/MMA/Casuals. McGregor get's the biggest pay day of his life and Mayweather makes easy money. Don't see why it couldn't, fighters want to make money and this would.

Can't help but feel like it woulda been bigger pre-Diaz. Plus I have my doubts that McGregor could still make a weight low enough for that fight.

But anyway, if this somehow managed to happen I'd most likely pay for it. Seeing Connor look totally lost in there and probably get stopped would be worth every penny.

This. I bet McGregor gots **** in his contract that prevents him from deep sea diving or other random activities like that. For sure a pro boxing match isn't doable without UFC approval & the UFC won't even let him fight in a UFC right now lol.

All signs actually point to him headlining UFC 202 in August.

For sure it would sell. Tyson vs McNeely is still in the top 10 all time PPV's I think. And that was all about novelty. Believe the UFC even had surprisingly solid numbers for a non-affiliated PPV low profile event early on when it was regularly called human **** fighting in the media & by politicians. A freak show is appealing on some level. And Conor vs Floyd would for sure be a freak show event if it were to happen. Which it isn't anytime soon for sure.

it would be like when carter williams (boxer) fought alexy ignashov (kickboxer)
