Come fight night - at what weight will Canelo step into the ring against Amir Khan?

So Canelo is known to gain alot of weight between the weigh in and the fight the next day.

I have a feeling that this time Canelo will try to drain himself to 154 for the weigh in so he can claim he is not a MW yet.

Will he even step on the scales come fight night this time because of the criticism he is getting if he is 170lb + again?

If he steps on the scale, how much will he rehydrate to?

To be honest i think Canelo will try to weigh in at 154 and then not step on the scales for the unofficial weight the next day and claim he is light.

I think Canelo will come in weighing the same as he did for the Cotto fight--180+. He won't weigh himself on fight-night, though. That'd be an invitation for bad publicity.

I reckon, the way his team sees it, that it won't matter if Khan is faster because Canelo will send him flying with the first big shots he lands accurately.

        165lbs...

he'll come in light. Around 165lbs and shock everybody. He knows what people say about his fight night weights. He also knows that the smart thing to do against a speedster, is to come in lighter. He looks fast ans light. Bottom line is, Khan is getting stretched out! Smh.

PS. He may not even step on the scale before entering the ring, just to add to the mystic of his weight.

He'll be at his normal 171-174 weight.

These exaggerations of him being at 180+ are ridiculous.

              Around 170-172, as always.

You guys massively exaggerate how much stock Canelo puts into weight criticism from people on the internet - he'll weigh what he wants and give zero ****s what anyone has to say about it.

Canelo is not going to deliberately weaken himself for any reason. He is a dedicated pro boxer and everything he does is designed to help him win the fight. He said he expects to weigh lighter than usual on fight night at 165. The reason is to be as fast as possible. He will probably weigh in at or within ounces of 155. I am guessing he will be about 167 on fight night. Khan and other Englishmen keep insisting Canelo will be 175 on fight night. That's ridiculous. He has never been above 172 on fight night and usually a few pounds lighter than that. He would need to gain 20 pounds in 30 hours to weigh an enormous 175 pounds on fight night. Such a weight gain would absolutely be harmful to his performance. I doubt there will be more that a few pounds difference between Canelo and Khan on fight night. My prediction is Khan will be 165 and Canelo will be 167 on fight night. HBO always shows the fight night weights

I don't remember him ever being heavier than 172 for any fight so why would he be 174 for a fight in which he wants to maximize his speed????? Canelo has never tried to hide his fight night weight the way Mayweather did. Canelo doesn't give a fuc what his critics say. If he did he would agree to fight GGG next at 160. I'll bet you Canelo will weigh less than 170 on fight night and Khan will lose his excuse of being outweighed by so many pounds.
