Shot at what? Canelo does not hold or defend a title at a legitimate weight class. He fights guys smaller than him and refuses to actually fight in his weight class 165. He is about to get out boxed by a welterweight but will eventually win by KO because Khan obviously has no chin. He's in a no win situation. GGG is a champion in the MIDDLEWEIGHT division and destroys middleweights, Canelo has done very little to earn the mantle as the best of anything.

GGG is the mandatory. Should Canelo have been given the MW title for winning a fight vs. Cotto @ 155, even after Cotto vacated the belt? Whose fault is that?
