smh I was actually excited for this fight but it looks like it's not happening. I don't know if that tweet means he's refusing to fight Briggs or that he won't fight him because he's not receiving an offer.

You can't be on boxingscene for more than a minute without blind assumptions like this. Briggs' has been travelling constantly but people just cannot seem to accept that a person like Briggs has money. The guy is selling t-shirts like crazy, and I'm sure he's also raking in money from his letsgochamp app. As well, the guy has been living in a beautiful home for years even before he had an app and a clothing line.

Edit: We all heard the same crap when Briggs was trying to fight Wlad, saying Wlad is paying for Briggs to travel lol people must assume Briggs pays for nothing. People just can't seem to accept the fact that Briggs has money... It's pure envy.

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but you're assuming he isn't but how do you know. People thought Wlad was paying for Briggs' travel as well, but in reality Wlad never wanted to fight Briggs. You think Wlad was trying to build up the Briggs fight for 2 years and the only reason it didn't happen is because of the Fury loss? Briggs is his own promoter, and he must be doing a pretty damn good job at it since nobody gave a **** about Briggs until he began self promoting.

I can't imagine his free app or t shirts are making more than allowance money, but they help his career through exposure. What he's probably doing is living off of his untelevised fights, spending that money promoting himself, banking on a million dollar payday.

If anyone will give it to him its Haye. Lets not forget his 4 fights that got him to Wlad were Barrett> Valuev>Ruiz>Harrison. All old retiring guys. It's a win-win situation for both of them.
