Honestly outside of hardcore boxing fans, who's really heard of GGG? And when I bring up GGG's name up to casuals, the first thing they ask is, "who has he fought"? I have no good answer but to say some top contenders. So yeah I think its possible he did around 100k. I couldnt even find a bar that was showing the fight, and I live in a sizable metropolitan city (San Diego).

P.S. Also the hardcore fans that did know of the fight, also knew it was a predictable outcome so I'm sure some of those opted to stream the fight (As I did) or skip it all together.

Glaser came up with that number and it somehow unquestioned, mainly by the GGG detractors.

Yet Glaser also claimed that Canelo-Cotto did 600K. When in fact HBO released the numbers to be 900K.

There have been reports ranging from 97 - 150K. I'd say it's probably somewhere in between.

Why wouldn't it be true? Man these guys don't need to be on PPV yet. It's a joke. Crawford/Postol sells more than 100k I'll be shocked.

GGG does have fans. He is starting to gain mainstream coverage on ESPN. I just don't think he's crossed that level to watch him on ppv. It's hard to get there if you aren't Latino especially. It took Mayweather years of HBO exposure to get to PPV. Wasn't his first one Gatti? He had been on HBO for almost 10 years by then.

Kevin Iole, Stephen Espinoza, and even Floyd Hype all came out to support Glaser's Cotto-Canelo numbers despite what HBO said. This new guy at HBO, Peter Nelson, is a liar.

Do you have a source? Or maybe they just took his numbers without questioning them.

Oh, the same clowns who used Glazer's numbers to ridicule others don't want to believe them now? Priceless.
