Retiring to make a 'come back'

What do people think about this? I feel a bit manipulated by boxers who retire in full knowledge that they are going to return to the ring. It's disrespectful to the fans isn't it?

if hes like me all my accounts have the same password.

but he does make a valid point, I was wondering this with pacquaio cause bob was so adamant on not promoting it as pacman last fight and had me thinking why not? if pacquaio says it is. But I came up with 2 reason, 1) being that he does not want to play that gimmick game RETIREment last fight just to get extra buys then do a comeback fight 6 months-1 year later, or 2) he does not want to announce it as his retirement bout cause maybe legally that will let pacman out of his contract? and he wants pacquaio on that lease if he does come back and maybe get a mayweather rematch or something.

then I think about mayweather, and all I come up is dude a bitch

Honestly mayweather isn't really relevant as a fighter anymore. If he comes back, his fights will still be spectacles but it's not like he's gonna be facing top competition to regain and hold his position at the top of the sport anymore. At this point fans need to just let go and focus on other fighters. End of an era.

Do you consider George Foreman a *****? Brett Favre? Retiring and un-retiring is normal in sports. Especially in boxing.

This is some 48 laws of power sh.it

I wouldnt do a good job summarizing it but people need to read the book it breaks it down perfectly , the effect of leaving has on people and how it enhances your legacy and how / why your able to gain more power or $$$$.

You think it's a coicindence that Jordan, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jay-Z, Mayweather , Clemons , Farve , Lance Armstrong , Sinatra , Streisand , all retired and came back and it helped their legacy and bank accounts.
