Ali is a good fighter skillwise but he's clearly not very durable

Vargas really came into his own on that fight with Ali, Vargas always had it in him he just needed the proper coach to bring it out of him. Fighting off the back foot is not a good style for Vargas, boxing in front of his opponent behind a jab is a good game for Vargas considering he can change levels and has underrated D. To bad for Ali Vargas came into prime and put it all together during that fight. If Ali didnt take to much that fight, he can make some$ in the game still, it appears he appeals to a certain East Coast Demographic but he is not Championship level, well at least with the Champions there are right now...

Well we will find out what Ali is made of. Some fighters are never the same after a KO especially when it's your first loss and some bounce back and get better. Manny got Knocked out not once but twice early in his career. Ali is still young and has a lot of skill but now it's about how tough mentally he is.

Ali needs to be active this year. To me he needs 3 or 4 quality fights before he gets another title shot.

He probably will fight a journeyman next.

Hopefully afterwards he fights the winner of Cano/Sanchez or fight KeAndre Gibson.
