Lol well its safe to say he has time in his career to do something more. What with it being his 7th fight next and all.

Tired of these dumb threads....yeah a 2 time Gold Medalist who already schooled the second most talented fighter at 126 in his 3rd pro fight is a hype job!!! If you know anything about boxing, just watching Lomachenko for 2 minutes, it is easy to see that he is a special talent.

He did get a bit overrated for beating that horse teeth midget GRJ. Which is funny, these same people that praised that performance would also crap on Russell for fighting nothing but bums and TBAs. I think Loma is highly skilled, but I still need to see more.

But seriously, how can people say that he stands a chance against Walters? That's ******ed.

I disagree. His style is problematic when the opponent is heavier/bigger. He didn't have enough pro experience to deal with Salido when he fought him.

I think Loma is very skilled and tough and IF he fights and defeats everyone he could, he could become a top 15-20 ATG.

He would be favored to beat Walters...and in boxing the favorite wins 99% of the time.

I don't think there's anyone from 126 to 135 he can beat to make him top 15-20 ATG tbh.

Maybe it's you that has the issue spotting talent if you think he doesn't stand a chance against Walters. Maybe he wins and maybe he doesn't but to say he doesn't stand a chance is ridiculous to be honest but to each his own I guess.

Walters is a real professional, while Lomachenko is still at the same level as Orlando Salido.

That's fair, collectively if he beats rigo, santa cruz, vevetka walters, fortuna, Martinez, uchiama, valdez, and climbs through 135, especially revenging Salido, he would have an unbelievable list of bodies.

Maybe he would need to do some work at 140. But he has so many quality opponents, all of which I think he has the skills to defeat.
