Personally hoping Carl "80k fans at Wembley" Froch comes back for 1 last hurrah against the winner of Degale/Jack. 168 is boring without the Cobra.

From what I saw, Froch stays fit... But he said it would be difficult to make 168...

True. Also heard he's been hitting the weights and has put on some muscle. 168 might be a difficult task right now but i know Chunky would go to any weight for that fight.

Froch beats DeGale at 172, for instance -- Chunky is slowing down in the second half when Froch is usually stronger.

Depends I always though Carl retired a bit too soon that DeGale fight would have sold well.

Too much work-rate and power for someone like DeGale, I don't think DeGale would have been KOed but certainly he would have been as bruised up as someone like Medina had him.
GGG would likely KO him show-boating that much with someone who is a sharpshooter is a terrible idea.

This old hater already ducked James Degale - keep the champs name out of your mouth. Carl Froch is mad because Chunky won his old world title (IBF) that he vacted ' dropped ' instead of facing Degale but I think most of his jealousy lies in the fact that James has been winning in America but all the 'Worm' Froch did was get schooled by the AMERICAN Andre Dirrell in his prime then dominated by Andre Ward in Atlantic city, USA.

Froch is 38 and been out for 2 years, that's too long for his age. He'll be beyond rusty.
