I recon it was 70/30 or 65/35 split, no? Because I remember reading an article that the guaranteed purse for Khan was $ 6mil..
But the biggest payday of his career nonetheless.. Brook anyways awaits for Khan with open arms to pocket his big payday.. So it's a smart move by Khan no matter what the outcome of the fight is.. Lol..

As an adviser, his only job is to net his fighters as much money as possible. He could have pulled a Bob Arum-esque move and prevented Khan from fighting off the network, let alone on a rival network. But he saw how much money Khan was going to make and gave him his blessings. I don't see any harm in this.

Very easy to see why he took the fight now.

nor do I. I would just hesitate at "thanking" someone for not interfering with a fight getting made, especially when they are getting paid well.

Reminds me of when me and Gary Shaw made the Tim Bradley - Nate Campbell fight. Gary and I worked out the deal, and then I called Don King and made a $$ deal with him to not get in the way of the fight. Don got a nice check for doing absolutely nothing, but the idea of "thanking" him never occurred to me lol

All true but unfortunately this is boxing where you have to thank people for doing things they should've been expected to do anyway.
