The games not made for ko artists anymore. You just get accused.
The way forward is to punch like malignaggi that's the yardstick now!Comment

He probably does have really dense bones, he's been punching people nearly his whole life
, and I'm sure his technique is solid, it should be like second nature to him by now..
If you asked anyone who doesn't follow boxing, who do you think they'd pick?

yea, the more jacked dude
same with Kovalev..

These guys have good fighter builds, not too bulky but efficient.
Bone density probably does play a big part too.
Who knows? Maybe they were exposed to radiation and are mutants?Last edited by bigfo0t; 05-02-2016, 04:21 PM.Comment

Best part of this video is Berto's standing next to Elvis Grant Phillips, the man who makes Golovkin's gloves. I took this as being a complement to Golovkin. Berto more less comes out and says he's not picking Danny to win.
Here's Stephen Edward's assessment where Golovkin's punching power comes from.
GGG does more wrist and forearm work than any fighter I have ever seen. It's the last part of the snap.

@KD4PRESIDENT sure we work on it. But it's a small muscle group. Takes lots of time to develop.

@KD4PRESIDENT very important for withstanding punishment. Abs also help with endurance. I believe he's the truth idc what anyone says

There is no such thing as roid gut. That is something ****** ignorant people call roid-gut or hgh-gut but its should just be called bubble gut. Bubble gut as seen in bodybuilders is a product of taking loads of diuretics and carb-loading before a show. It has nothing to do with taking steroids.
What bodybuilders have is distention of the lower abdomen caused by eating a massive amount of carbohydrates while diuretics have shut down the digestive tract.

GGG looks nothing like this

There's no mystery here. He's physically predisposed to hit hard. He's worked on those attributes in terms of building maximum power and an efficient technique to deliver it. He is athletically gifted in that regard to begin with and he works his butt off to maximize his potential. There are probably plenty of guys who can wind up and fire a shot that lands as hard maybe harder than GGG...not many who can deliver that power consistently with timing and accuracy with either hand from a multitude of angles. Add that to the fact that he's developed a lot of other boxing skills as his amateur record attests to and you've got yourself a real problem in the ring.Best part of this video is Berto's standing next to Elvis Grant Phillips, the man who makes Golovkin's gloves.
