I may not agree with the direction of his career, opposition he's faced thus far, and his inablity to take risks, but I'll be damned if the mother****er can't fight.

I was looking at some old footage of him from the amateurs and was impressed by his exceptional head movement.

He showed me a new wrinkle in his arsenal when he fought Pepe La Pew (i.e. agility). I think he might have a few more tricks up his sleeve that he hasn't displayed because he hasn't had too: head movement.

If this dude has the granite chin I think he has, lateral movement I think he has, pretty damn good head movement that I think he has, coupled with the body punching, jab and power he's already displayed. Fcuk me, some folks are in trouble.

That said, all I ask is that he start taking more risks and at least attempt to take 1 fight where he enters the ring as the underdog.

Waiting for him to up the ante against a HOF esque fighter.

But even if we're just going off the Kasim Ouma, Willie Monroe and Proksa eye test, he's a superb fighter.

Honestly, at 34 he stays in shape all year round. I think he has a solid 3 years left in his prime. Plenty of time to find 2-3 defining fights.

I don't see how anyone can doubt that. Guy is legit for sure. But I want to know how great he is.

He does seem to be a very sound pugilist. He reminds me of Sparky Peterson who used to fight out of West ******ia in the 1780's.

I cannot crown him the best until I see him lock fisticuffs with Morgan Fitch out of Pittsburgh.

But unfortunately for some... they are so blinded by race, they think only a black man can be good at boxing, and they miss how great Golovkin is.
