I just posted in another thread, he put himself in position to get a another Title Shot with that win. He was already rated #3 by the WBC coming into this fight. I wouldn't be against Berto vs Ortiz III either if Ortiz wants to do it and get his revenge.

Plus there is the whole fact that Garcia is likely going to get trounced by Mayweather in a rather boring affair. A fight with Berto is likely to be much more fun and competitive.
