I had Canelo winning by 7-5 plus a knock down, I believe that was the really big difference. The scores by the judges were pretty wide, that's one of the reasons Canelo gets **** for that win!!

Not particularly decisive, there was an argument for Trout winning but the knock-down sealed it in Canelo's favour in the view of most.

There was also open-scoring which may have affected the flow of the fight.

it was a competitive fight but Canelo was in control even if he didn't win every round. And yes the knockdown sealed it.

            Canelo won CLEARLY...

Canelo won the fight with clean, effective punching. He's a very accurate fighter who takes his time and uses his defensive skills and ring IQ to win fights. His lack of picking up his feet is very deceiving. Why? Because he is a very good defensive fighter, with good upper body and head movement. My guess is, he can pick up his feet if he wanted to. Trout fights like a brave punk if that makes sense? His style is tentative and he wastes a lot of shots because of his lack of power. He has a good chin and is difficult to KO. He is BIG but punky. Only a hater would said that Canelo didn't win CLEARLY. Canelo has a lot of haters on here. It's okay. He is just going to keep improving, fighting exciting fights and winning. He is a B+ Level fighter right now and is still peaking. The only thing I'd like to see from him going forward, is to throw more punches. In big, big fights you have to let your hands go. He did it against Lara and it's why he won that fight. He also did it against Angulo and Kirkland. So, every since the Floyd fight, he has been on FIRE.

Clear win for Canelo boxed the **** out of Trout. Made him look like a amatuer. PLUS the knockout.
