Would GGG have moved up to fight Ward if it meant a Mayweather type of payday?

      You're welcome!
Well, when Ward enters the ring at +180 do you expect GGG to come at 168 for the fight?... Strange...

Because there's only one true answer. Ward was always high risk with no reward.
If he was a big Mayweather type of payday, no doubt GGG would've fought him.

Depends on what kind of money.

But most likely he wouldn't have taken the fight. Loeffler and Abel have made it pretty clear to me that they didn't want to make the fight with Ward, and probably neither did GGG.

                No, there really isn't.

There is only one answer that YOU will accept.

I think he would fight Ward for a huge pay day. At the time Ward was asking for the fight there wasn't much money being offered to him so why should a great middleweight fight a great light heavyweight for a small purse?

Do you think he would've offered to move up for a Froch if it wasn't getting him a big payday?

The question is would GGG have fought Ward at 168 for a big payday. Whatever they rehydrate to on fight night is on them. I'm sure if GGG's weight was 168 he would also gain a couple pounds. But that's irrelevant to the question.
