Noticed Richard Shaefer in the crowd on PBC

IMO this will not end well. If Floyd thinks he can bring Shaefer into the Mayweather Promotions fold with no funny business he will get burned. Shaefer took advantage of ODL after using his name and crossover, no pun intended, appeal to build GBP. I feel that he would take advantage of Floyd's lack of education and knowledge as well. Maybe him and Haymon are in cahoots to use Floyd's name to build up their own thing and keep him out of the loop.

Ran into him at the team store at Staples Center a couple weeks ago. He was buying a Kings jersey. Was gonna ask him if he plans on getting back into boxing with Mayweather Promotions but decided not to cause he was on his phone. Would be cool to see him back in boxing though. He was basically responsible for Matthysse-Garcia making it on the Mayweather-Canelo PPV.

Floyd is actually promoting the fight in DC on Showtime, he would be there if he was hooking up with Floyd.

Shaeffer hooking up with Haymon is kind of a natural thing, they can use each other.

Scheaffer had to spend 8 figures multiple times to bail Oscar out from his antics and save the business, can you blame him and the fighters from separating themselves from Oscar

Sure Oscar had his demons but Sheafer also wouldn't have been in the position he was in if he wasn't able to use ODL name and crossover appeal to secure sponsers and HBO deals in the early days of GBP. If it was called Richard Shaefer promotions he would not have been nearly as successful as it was. Shaefer is a smart guy but a little loyalty was also called for as well.
Instead he saw a way to go behind ODL back and start funneling fighters to Haymon so he could cash out on both sides.
I feel like he is the type of guy that will take advantage of someone like Floyd and Haymone is too smart to get into business with someone like him. One thing I have learned is shady people are usually smart enough to attach themselves to someone as shady as them.
