Him nor his people ever really proclaimed him to be anything more than what he was, a very winning, VERY busy fighter on the mid-west circuit. For the most part he was a step or two above the level of opposition that he faced & by fighting as often as he did, it earned him a pretty remarkable ( for the modern era anyhow ) record. And he & his people used the noteriety from that record to land some TV dates & some bigger fights.
Once he began to mix with the better level of opposition from outside of the mid-west circuit, he lost, but he usually gave a good account of himself in the process.

LMAO you could type false justifications all day long, and everyone would still believe he was the most protected fighter of all time. I thought Brian Nielson was.......this guy takes the cake.
