    Is Eddie Chambers done?

Hes favored vs that fraud Washington.. However I think Washington wins. Look at Chambers competition lately. Fighting guys with 30+ losses in UK lol.. I see a terrible fight where no one lands anything. I see Washington keeping the much shorter Chambers on the outside with his jab, giving Chambers nothing to return fire at, as Chambers uses a turtle defense and returns fire after his opponent punches. Thats haed to do vs rangy guys with a long jab. Just food for thought for gamblers

Done? He was never good anyway.

He wasn't even fast either, he was just kind of fast compared to the other fatties in the division.

It's like being in a Special Education class and being able to spell your name, it doesn't make you smart, you're just not as ******ed as the other window lickers around you.

i would assume so yeah, given his level of competition/ his style does not bode well for his age or height.

Washington should win a boring decision imo. having said that, if eddie has anything left i would not be surprised to see him school washington, he is technically terrible.

Eddie Chambers. Holy ****, he's ancient history. This thread should have been made 7 years ago.

Damn he fought two guys that were 9-45 and 5-39 back to back. The guy with the most wins in that run is 43-31, the guy with the least losses is 8-3. Holy ****. He's 34 but fighting guys better suited for a 20 year old who just turned pro not a former top 10 contender.

Meh, I thought he was decent enough back in the day. Just kind of underwhelming. He had very sharp hands though, and one of the best defences of any heavyweight since Chris Byrd.

Got no idea how good he is nowadays though. His confidence seems to be a bit shot.

I was looking to bet on this fight but didn't see a line last I looked. But I was thinking Washington's height is gonna be problematic for Chambers here. Definitely woulda thrown some money on Washington even though I think he's close to his ceiling.

                  Chambers is the favourite?
While I think that Washington lost to Mansour, I dont think that Chambers has the tool to overcame the height and reach difference. Chambers is not the kind of boxer who leads and pressures his opponent.
Washington is a very defensive fighter and does not have much offense going on, but he probably learned enough from the Mansour fight and should beat Chambers.
