I think he loses to Johnny Cage and Zangief.

Who the hell knows how he would fare against Sugar Ray Robinson?

Head to head I can't make a comparison when the guy hasn't faced an elite champion who really tests his caliber of skill... either way u look at it, it's a bad debate

The Zangief fight would be a clinch-fest.

            Tough question.

He looks like the real thing but the best name on his resume is Martin Murray.

And will still be Martin Murray if he fight Canelo, who has NEVER fought a middleweight.

(Saul is an elite 154 pounder, but totally unproven at 160).

So no, we shouldn't even be asking this question yet.

Head to head I think he loses to Jones Jr. Hagler, Monzon, Hopkins, Toney. Heck I might even pick pre Eubank McClellan to beat him. Would love to see a fight between GGG and Julian Jackson

Hagler and Jones would be a loss for a golovkin I think...the others are pretty much 50/50...although we don't know how good he can be till he fights a top tier
fighter like canelo,Degale or even a froch...the only argument I have against a hagler fight is roldan gave a hagler a very tough fight and golovkin is a lot more gifted than him but with more power .....hard to say with these fantasy match ups who would win....if golovkin beats canelo,Jacobs,Saunders,Degale and another top world champion then we will have the discussion again....needs the acid test
