Comments Thread For: Canelo's Coach Rejects Claim That Khan's Chin is Poor: It's a Myth!

Eddy Reynoso, trainer of WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs), believes Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) has a much stronger chin that many give him credit for.

Wait a minute Chepo. GGG has knocked out 22 straight but he's fought nobody and is overrated while Khan who's been KNOCKED OUT before & has proven to have a weak chin is a myth? #Comedian/WannabeTrainer

The promotion of this fight coming from GBP/Canelo and his team reminds me of Mayweather-Berto. Mayweather/Ellerbe were trying so hard to tell the fans how good Berto is and how tough this fight is going to be. That's exactly what GBP/Canelo/WBC have been doing.

You know when a fighter/his team/fans think a fighter is a threat/really good, they actually try to convince you the fighter is not all that of a threat and their fighter is superior in every way.

You'd think pretty much Khan is a GBP fighter being promoted by De La Hoya the way they've been talking.

Funny thing is that there's a possibility that this fight will be competitive. It's just a sign of a bad mismatch when the opposing team is bigging up the opponent though.

And proceeded to put his foot in his mouth. Those punches wouldn't have KO'd anyone. But more important, how do those punches so often land on Khan.

Chris A. went 12 with Khan, looked decent. Spence blew him to pieces.

Khan not only seem to get hit on the button (if we're buying this bs) very often, but he's also incapable if putting down guys that other WW put down. But we're supposed to believe Khan is going to hold up to Canelo, the WBC MW champion, rehydrating to 175 azz.

            Lol!

If Canelo cannot KO khan, he's a lost cause. The guy has grown out of 154, but lacked power there. What's he gonna do when after he ducks GGG he eventually fights a MW who takes his head off because he lacks any real power.

Can it be a myth if I have witnessed it many times? It's hardly a story thats been passed down generations and lost in time....
