Good point EC. Wasn't Golovkin supposed to have the flu prior to that fight - maybe even during the fight?

I chuckle everytime I see someone write how Canelo is really a middleweight or lightheavyweight.

"He gains 20 pounds!" they say.

Well, lots of guys gain after a weigh-in.

Margarito gained almost 20 lbs against Pac when they fought for that bogus 154 lb belt...but we all knew it was 2 welters fighting.

Rios regularly rehydrates to middleweight and super middleweight as a light welter and welter, but no one says he is a true 160 pounder or he should be fighting there.

The middle weight belt happened to fall into the hands of a junior middleweight.

Who lost it to another junior middleweight.

Who lost it to Canelo, another junior middleweight.

The catchweight, odious tho it may be, is the fair thing here...even if it is a mandatory defense.

And especially if lil g wants the payday, which we all know is his REAL motivation.

Don't be shocked when they cave and agree to the catchweight...

That was the Rosado fight. Vs Ouma, he had passport issues entering Panama and had to stay overnight at the airport before the fight. Additionally after Ouma had his ringwalk, there was a 15 minute delay where Golovkin had to stand in the aisle waiting. Not a major deal, but it could have contributed to his slow start with him just standing there while Ouma was in the ring warming up.

All that crap you wrote for nothing. No one believes canelo is a JMW.

lol, I get it... but 'cab' is short for 'cabron' ... Cabron can be translated into many things, depending on the context. In the way Marquez used it, he meant it as GGG being one darn bad man.

Did you also defend Cotto for fighting at 155 or are you just being a hypocrite? Real question!

Hes like 42 years old, hes done his share of moving up, having started at 126. Canelo can move up ONE full division.

I think they're both fahghinas tbh. Golovkin wants a payday vs a guy he's pretty sure he'll beat, canelo wants to drain the guy he's not confident in beating

JMM knows what's up. The man is a real fan of the sport and knows that this fight needs to happen.

And as is tradition with LoadedWraps, you already know I drop historic prophecies on the regular on NSB: GGG by stoppage.

I never considered Cotto or Maravilla true middleweights despite being lineal.
