Those are special cases. Vargas is not GG or Canelo and they didn't include Arum.

Surely he's gonna have to fight the winner of that fight? There's some real heat developing between these 3, they've been exchanging words for a while now

We will have to see how the calendar unfolds, tbh. With Thurman defending his belt against Thurman in June, and Brook-Vargas being targeted for the late summer (Brook washes Vargas), Danny Garcia is going to have a stay-busy fight for the summer (in my mind, and all Philly clash with Ray Robinson would work well, but it'll more likely be the Ortiz-Berto winner).

Once those three bouts get done with, Garcia is likely to be looking at options; Khan mandatory defense, likely head to the UK for a Sky Box Office/Showtime WBC/IBF/WBO unification fight against Kell Brook at the O2, or fight the Thurman-Porter winner in a WBC/WBA unification fight in a massive fight at Barclays Center (potentially a PPV fight).

The added heat between everyone involved, if we're honest, makes for a bigger event when the fight ends up happening.
