Comments Thread For: Khan: Beating Canelo Would Be Monumental For British Boxing

Bolton's Amir Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) goes into next weekend's meeting with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 early) as a huge underdog, but the 29-year-old is relishing the opportunity to upset the odds and believes he can walk away from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a huge win and the linear middleweight title to his name.

Why would someone would be rooting for a privileged ultra ****y douche like Khan? I'm Mexican and Canelo is not my favorite... But the most satisfying thing for me innrecent years have been seeing Khan do the noodle leg dance and Maidana beating Broner! Indeed it would be monumental if he wins, but he wont, and a victory by canelo, Most likely by KO does nothing for Mexico... Except continuing the tradition of being the most esciting fighters in Boxing

You should be ashamed Canelo chose Khan...i mean "cherrypicked"

Khan is the one with the big balls

Canelo is basically bringing up a guy from 2 weight classes below him to score a cheep knockout

Nah Amir, Fury successfully defending his titles again King Kong Ortiz would be monumental for Bristish boxing, or Anthony Joshua winning an absolute war against Ortiz for the titles would be monumental.

Those family members of his at the weigh in for his fight with Alexander, it would be monumental for them.

                Biggest fight of his career.

How many are going over to support him?
