    Ref for Keith-Porter

    who will it be?

It seems Porter's route to victory is to get inside, smother, and maul Keith.

But the handlers haven't shown much favoritism towards Porter in the past.

Having the right ref can make or break Porter's chances in this fight.

Tony Weeks is the best ref hands down. I know the guy and hes as honest as they come, not intimidated by $ or anyone, and LOVES what he does. Bayless on the other hand is incompetent.

Yea, Tony is solid, Bayless is inconsistent and sometimes altogether sketchy.
I must say that I love Smoger though. He knows when he needs to get involved but generally forces fighters to deal with each other, which they tend to do amazingly well when Smoger is the ref.

what happened to tony during garcia-matthysse when garcia threw nonstop low blows? temporary blindness? rabbit punch knocked him through the ropes and he missed that too? he's just as corrupt/incompetent as anyone else. if hes not corrupt then he subconsciously finds himself protecting the a-side like most other refs. there must be a subconscious pressure to protect the a-side when you are surroudned by the atmosphere. what a shame. they should hire me. i'm firm but i'm fair...anyone have that catch phrase yet...

... The fight is going to be at Barclays Center in NYC, so the ref is likely going to be a New York/ East coast-based referee.

Steve Smoger, Arthur Mercante Jr, Harvey Dock, and Benjy Estevez Jr are likely the four true options, with Steve Willis, Eddie Cotton as the "other"
