    Floyd or Mannys SFW/Featherweight..

Days.. Who's were the more impressive?

Manny was lineal at both FW & SFW & was ring mag (annual ratings) rated #1 for 4 years (2 at each weight) He had incredible depth & fought:

-2-1 with a slightly war weary but still game ATG Morales
-2-2 with ATG Barrera (Near prime in one of them)
-1 win & 1 draw with prime ATG JMM (Though I thought he edged both & lost the other two at the higher weights)
-Beat Oscar Larios (who had a record of 56-4-1) holds wins over the likes of Wayne McCullough, Takahiro Ao & Israel Vasquez. Larios is a former WBC Super Bantamweight and Featherweight champion.

Floyd had longevity at SFW. Has a record of 27-0 & defended the WBC 12 times (Was also lineal & ring champion for 5 years) beat the likes of:

-Genaro Hernández for the WBC & lineal title
-IBF champion & undefeated Diego Corrales (who would go onto win the WBC, WBO and The Ring magazine lightweight titles as well as the WBO super featherweight titles)
    -Angel Manfredy
    -Gregorio Vargas
    -Carlos Hernández (former IBF champion)
-Jesús Chávez who would go onto win the WBC Super Featherweight and IBF Lightweight belts.

    Which is more impressive IYO?

Pacquiao lost to Morales at 130 and I had him losing to Marquez at 130. He also was very raw down at that weight compared to the welterweight version of himself.

Mayweather looked flawless at 130 even against his best opponents. Pacquiao had 8 fights there total as Mayweather had 8 title defenses and 6 against top 10 opponent rated by the Ring.
Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Genaro Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Vargas, Angel Manfredy were all in the top 10 at 130.

Manny had the best individual win with his domination of Barrera. Both Marquez fights could have gone either way and Morales beat him. I don't consider the second Morales fight as a good win especially after what Raheem did to him.

Floyd was totally dominant at 130 and beat a top 10 p4p fighter in Corrales.

If I had to decide I would give Pac the edge because he fought a much tougher lineup of fighters and the total destruction of Barrera came out of nowhere.

thats respectable but weren't they comparing manny at 126/130 to floyd at 130 not just 130? manny barely fought at 130

Oh my bad, that's a different discussion then. Pacquiao would probably get the nod, but I think it'd be fairer if you compared 126/130 Manny to 130.135 Mayweather.

That's 2 weight classes for both spread over 5 years.

i agree....if thats the case, Mayweather clearly has the edge over 2 divisions....11 lineal title defenses and wins over former future champs Corrales, Castillo, Gregorio Vargas, G Hernandez, C Hernandez, Jesus Chavez

if we compare 126/130 to mayweathers at just 130 idk....The loss to a past prime Morales and never beating JMM clearly in 2 tries.

Mayweather was definitely more dominant at 130 than he ever was anywhere else.

its a toss up for me...I'll give it to many for now considering he has 3 hall of famers he competed with who were p4p in their career
