I thought one of the KDs was bullshyt (because it was a push after a punch) and had it a draw (win if you don't count the push KD).
As much as Dirrell faltered early, he really looked a full level more talented than Degale throughout the rest of the fight. Degale is the definition of "nothing special". I dare anyone who disagrees to re-watch that fight.

I would say this fight is worthy of a rematch Absolutely! First fight was a good fight, Dirrell showed a lot of heart getting off of the canvas and fighting his way back into that fight

Dirrell need to look impressive tonight though

That was a weird fight. DeGale was obviously the better fighter, yet he just kind of disappeared and let Dirrell make it really close and woke up in time to cinch it late.

I replayed what u claim, mayb, but the ref called it & the judges MUST score as the ref calls it...a rematch is good...hope it is in UK, as James made the trip.over 1st time...

Dirrell should get a few decent wins first.

He obviously still has some talent but i think DeGale is just a better fighter than him. I'm not sure what DeGale was playing at in that fight, he seemed to let Dirrell get into the fight at times, rather than Dirrell getting himself into it. I thought maybe he was worried about his stamina or something, maybe it wasn't a good camp or making weight was a real struggle, i'm not sure. He was doing good work then seemed to just take the round off. Or he would do nothing for almost a full round then turn it on for the last 30 seconds. Dirrell is good, but it just seemed DeGale could have made that fight a lot easier.

I'm not even sure how much Dirrell as left in terms of being a top fighter. He still has skills to give anyone some trouble but i think any top fighter in the division can deal with him in the end.

I'd watch the rematch definitely but i think if DeGale fights at a more consistent and focused pace during the fight, he will make easier work of Dirrell. I think he's just a level above him at this stage of their careers.
