Because he's smart, really. He's a marketing bonanza in Europe, whether he fights again or not. He looks good by calling-out Lennox who represents the only truly monstrous payday available. becuase rahman is an ordinary fighter who was beat up by a shot holyfield,,ruiz and maskeav. nothing to gain for him there while lewis is a great with a legacy and a win over vitali. thats enough motivation to come back. this isnt rocket science dude

Lets face it, it's easy for Vitali to call out boxers who are retired and will never box again, far easier than mixing it up with the current crop of heavyweights, some of who might beat him with his current injury problems.

he's calling out lennox cos he's an attention whore who failed in his bid to become a politician just as he failed in his bid to beat lennox and become undisputed. He should thank the ref, Lou Moret, for stopping it when he did otherwise he would be blind in one eye right now. Lennox had found his range and would have tore his face to pieces.

Wlad looked great this past weekend, Manny is doing a great job with him, but lets not get too excited until we see him fight someone who can punch and who doesn't just stand in front of him at perfect range cos past performances leave a question mark.
