Vargas looked very good against Sadam Ali, a fight he was supposed to lose (Ali was somewhere between 3/1 to 6/1 favorite, can't recall exactly), but not like Sadam Ali was considered a world beater.

Still, it's a solid opponent for Brook. He should win but it's an opponent that matters. In a fantasy world we get Thurman-Porter winner vs DSG, then the winners of these two fights fight each other to unify all the belts.

I wish Brook was fighting somebody better. Vargas is a champion so it's a good fight. I thought Vargas beat a guy that wasn't very good to get his title. I think Garcia, Bradley, Thurman and Porter are all a bit better than Vargas. Vargas really believes he is great puncher now. I think he will go after Brook hard trying to knock him out. I think Brook will knock him out. Brook seems better than Vargas to me in just about every way.
