I don't know how good or how bad things are with PBC but I do know that Team GGG just made a deal with Jacobs for a higher % split rather than go to a purse bid and Duva asked out of being the mando rather than go to a purse bid.

I get from this that no matter how bad it appears, Haymon still has a pool of resources that those going against him fear enough that they either make a deal giving the Haymon fighter more than required or they pull out of the bid.

Cuz honestly I've tried doing that myself & idk how they spent $800+ million, assuming those numbers represent what most would suspect they represent but maybe investment firms don't consider things like the average person would.

They sold it, it cost too much to lug from city to city and to put up, so it was sold for pennies on the dollar.

ggg was scared that if it went to purse bid jacobs wouldn't fight, not that pbc would actually win the purse bid.

Roc nation actually won the bid, but Quillin said, "Nah. I'd rather vacate. If I fight on HBO it would give GGG an idea."

No, you 're just mad that Haymon's strategy of using the purse bid to get his fighters a higher percentage was successful.
