Ward is Unkown Outside The US

Seriously, even avid boxing fans here in the UK barely know who I'm talking about when I mention his name. An overrated fighter who employs questionable tactics in the ring e.g. his "defense" consists of him bending down between an opponent’s legs, head butting, using elbows and excessive holding.

He's lauded by hipsters who think they know boxing and have a herd mentality, but anyone with an iota of objectivity sees past his act, he's dreadful and his record is horrendous - 29 fights, 15 KOs, more time spent in court than in the ring.

    Disclaimer: I'm not white.

Too bad popularity doesn't give him enough courage to actually fight him.

Herd mentality is the sort of thing that causes people to care about which boxer is more popular than another.

You guys make it so easy sometimes...

I agree, it's amazing how many people i've seen in Golovkin threads that don't know what lineal or undisputed is.
