agreed, Ponomarev is a waste of time. I think the Chaves fight was being discussed with the Algieri fight. I'd still like it. Chaves showed some good countering vs Bradley and Spence will face a good who can deliver power as well as take his power. It will be a very good taste. I doubt he comes out looking flawless like he has in all of his fights (except 1 round vs Lartey). If he destroys Chaves, that will be making a huge statement. Thurman should start panicking at that point.

I don't think it's 50/50. Spence is a solid favorite but there are worse fights that could be made. The Ponomarev fight is gonna be just fine for him plus it gets him Brook.

That would be an excellent development fight and tell us much much more than the Spence fight. He gave Thurman all he could handle.

Um probably hand speed, head movement, foot speed. Chaves is supremely talented. He just fights like a moron. He is small though and should be working to make 140.
