Yeah, Golovkin isn't that good. He only has an amateur record of 345-5 with an Olympic silver medal and is 35-0 as a pro. The top MWs for the last few years have ducked him. The current "champions" make every excuse NOT to fight him. Jacobs' team last year stated that they wanted $3-5 million to face GGG. Saunders after his victory over Lee said that he wasn't ready for GGG and that he can beat both him & Eubank Jr on the same night. Cotto completely had no intention on fighting GGG. Canelo has repeatedly said he is not a MW. I have never seen a guy have so many of the top fighters in his division shaking in their boots. But you're right I guess, he just isn't that good & is a protected fighter.

Ward had the coward running. Zou Shiming won 2 gold medals, not 1 silver like Duck.

This is a fight I would actually be interested in seeing, khurts has good mixture of punch selection going body head head to body only concern wil be if lil g decide to jab all day being as though he a short fighter

You're trolling right?? That guy is like 5'5.... he's going to absorb a ton of punishment before he lands anything decent. He's not a Wade-esque opponent but GGG will not credit, they'll say he beat a midget or something like that. Dibella is just trying to get Avtandil paid. If GGG isn't in with Jacobs, Saunders or Canelo next at 160, then I don't want to hear about it.

I hate Golovkin but I'll give him so much credit. Yes he's short and yes he's old but his style won't let Golovkin breath and he's part of those Russians and Eastern Euros doing good work in Brooklyn. Golovkin is scared.

We're just the schmucks who buy tix and complain about PPV prices. But really, GGG needs an Avtandil Khurtsidze, a full blown pressure fighter. Cuz as long as it lasts, it will be one of the most action style fights GGG has had in a while. Unless you just want more easy blowouts for the guy.

That's the ONLY comeback you have? So why have none of these top MWs agreed to step in the ring with GGG? Why has he been avoided? Canelo holds a title in GGG's division & the ***** keep using the excuse he is not a MW. Why don't all these top MWs hold the same opinion as you...that GGG is not that good?!?!?! MAYBE they know something about just how good GGG is that you in your infinite wisdom just don't see.

As for Ward, I am all for GGG fighting him. I want to see how good GGG really is! I suspect Ward wins in an ugly clinch fest, but I definitely want G to fight him.

Khurtsidze's not a bad fight, but there's better options with Jacobs, Saunders, Chavez. Even Kell Brook would be a better fight b/c it would raise GGG's profile in the UK for fights with Saunders, Eubank, and DeGale.

Khurtsidze is Saunders' #1, let them fight instead if BJS runs from GGG a second time.

You know how Oscar is always saying fights will be like Hearns/Hagler? I think this fight will be like Hearns/Hagler. Short but all action. GGG will take him out but Khurtsidze will go down swinging.
