Initially, I thought his biases were tough to stomach, but he's done a good job since of trying to be fair and balanced.

Hes young, carismatic and passionate.....he's good for the sport....and our sport can use any and publicity it gets!

Max is great, but he's no Larry Merchant. But give him a break, Merchant has decades more experience.

Main flaw I have against Kellerman is he acts impartial to his post fight interviews and usually takes a more politically correct route to politely getting an inquiry on the fight.

Merchant new that boxing was a show business sport at it's heart, and new he had a duty to get emotion and information out of boxers who much of the time of coached to give as little revealing and humanizing information as possible. The way he did it sometimes was to use flat out offensive rhetoric and insulting said fighter. Guy's a legend, could always count on him to cut through the bull****

I like Max, agree or disagree with some of his views his passion and knowledge of the sport is undeniable. You just know the dude lives and breathes boxing. I like how he usually stops and gives anyone with a handicam an interview. Long after the stadium has emptied there is Max giving his time to anyone who wants to talk the sport. He'll often say something like 'OK last question I gotta go' and there he will be 15 minutes later still going all guns blazing, LOL.

I would love to catch up with Max for an hour or two and talk the history of the sport. When it comes to discussing older fighters for me it is Max, Tyson and Stephen Edwards. All those cats really know their ****.

I'm neutral. He's okay, can get too excited and say crazy stuff sometimes, especially for prospects and unproven fighters. But he's alright.
