Nobodies touting Whyte as the next big anything, but hes clearly better or more effective than Hughie...who cant hit. I find it better than anything that Hughie can beat anything on Joshuas record, when he clearly cant and no one knows if hes even better than Johnson who fought Wlad. Two different skill sets in level unless you are Furys dad. you can argue who can have better out pointing system but in the HW division its not point sparring so I cant really see how anyone thinks Hughie over ranks this guy who took AJ 7 rounds?

Hughie's clearly more skilled than Whyte: much better command of distance, footwork and jab working in synergy to control his opponent, good timing and shot selection, a superior thinking brain that bodes well for his future development. Whyte has more power and might have better punch resistance, but that's it. He's crude, lacks technique, and lacks intelligence. He's a pure brawler and those types only go so far before they hit their ceiling. Whyte's already hit his with Joshua and I doubt he'll improve any from here on out. Hughie still has plenty of room for development.Nobodies touting Whyte as the next big anything, but hes clearly better or more effective than Hughie...who cant hit. I'm not a cheerleader of all things Fury, but I do think I can recognise talent where I see it. I saw it in Tyson and I see it in Hughie, perhaps not to the same jazz-level degree (Hughie seems far more meat and potatoes, both in fighting style and personality) but he's certainly got tons of potential to develop into a first rate fighter. Whyte might have the game changer but he doesn't have the brain. What we see now is, I suspect, what we're ever going to get.Comment

Sometimes power goes further than skill sets ,particularly at HW ,Whyte has much more experience in combat sports than Hughie .Whyte can hang with the big goys hes the much more natural HW. Until Hughie learns to have somewhat power i cant see overall better than the Kassi's of the HW division .If you cant hit you aint gonna last with these monster 250 pounders ,Wilder is an exception since hes a natural puncher ,and Povetkin is world level material ,Parker is a quick refined boxer/puncher and AJ would straight up murder Hughie ,im not even sure if he beats a guy like Splzilka ,im not buying this one till i see it. Tyson Fury has an 85 inch reach it helps him out add in hes a natural 300 pounder at 6'9 ,Hughie does not have these attributes hes a pole at 6'6 with nothing butdecent boxing but i cant see that getting him where eventually needs to be,my prediction is he gets k.o'd the first time he fights a true puncher in the top 10.Hughie's clearly more skilled than Whyte: much better command of distance, footwork and jab working in synergy to control his opponent, good timing and shot selection, a superior thinking brain that bodes well for his future development. Ordinarily you wouldn't put these 2 names together. But common opponents is always interesting, so it would be interesting to see how he fairs against a guy who took josh 7 roundsComment
