Was Hatton obsessed with Kosta Tsyzu

Have you ever heard an interview where he doesn't mention that fight, did that fight potentially ruin his career as he always use to back track to it and it made him think he could steam roll through everybody after that, surprised he never actually got t shirts printed saying I beat kosta tsyzu on the front, still till this day he can't go without mentioning that fight every 5 seconds

It's his career highlight. Might as well live off it forever.

How can you knock a man for embracing his best win? When you achieve something great in life you tend to talk about it

Tszyu was the king of 140, he was the goal Hatton was working at for years, of course he was obsessed with him.

I sometimes wonder has anyone on here truly done anything great in life? Have you never triumphed in something people said you could not do or you thought was not obtainable? It feels better then any nutt you have ever gotten in life.To trash a man for bashing in his achievements is kinda sad man and makes you look bitter.

Yes but lots of boxers have had great wins, you never hear them referring back to them in every single interview, it's was like he never let that high go and that's what drove him into drink and drugs as he couldn't get there again.

There are great wins and then there are wins like that. Beating someone who is better than you. He did this by using skill yes, but fitness, will, heart and desire. Will, heart, and desire made him paint a target on Tszyu's back and then work dilliegently in putting himself in position to dethrone him.

I don't think it drove him to drugs and drinks at all. If anything that Tszyu camp and fight is probably the gold standard metaphor of Hatton's life for overcoming adversity. No wonder he always talks about it, ffs. It must be something else to draw inspiration from your own achievements.
