I'm worried about how fat Fury got. He got over 300 pounds! He could end up sluggish and it could haunt him. I hope not, for the sake of the sport.

I saw the presser and linked to it in the other thread. Yes, this BS Irish reporter lady was implying Vlad has been cheating his whole career, basically. And yes, the mattress was in OK condition according to German rules prior to team Fury having an extra layer removed, there was no 'cheating' involved and everything had been on an even playing field anyway.

It was a crappy presser but I think it's going to be a good build up. Vlad is focused.

Hopefully Vlad knocks him out, for the sake of the sport.

He came into this camp 21 stone and has already dropped 14 lbs in 1 week, he came into the last camp 25 stone. I wouldn't be too worried he'll be in shape for the fight

Would it change the outcome of the fight, maybe/not sure.. Would it change how the fight is going to play out - hell yeah!!

Wlad is a strong man mentally, he's sometimes thinking too much as any type of person who has a high IQ/PhD profile, but he has a strong ability to come back, even after hard KO losses, he has always done better in rematches... (Byrd, Thompson, Brewster).

I think might do better but he came up really short in the first fight.
Remains to be seen if he still really has a deep motivation for the game, the guy is damn old for a HW and has been in the game for so long, won his first title in 2000.

I do not believe he came into his last came 25 stone! I don't remember ever seeing him as fat as he got recently.

I'm just worried about his motivation is all.

From Fury's twitter "I now know why most of the British people don't support me, it's coz I'm a gypsy & don't fly the British flag,"

Umm yea.... stop embracing an embarrassing culture and you'll get more love.

Why is anyone proud to be a gypsy? Seriously.

The whole thing appeared really unprofessional. Wlad and Boente gave it a touch of class until Wlad's uncharacteristic moment. Warren kept things civilised and demanded questions as opposed to statements from the crowd.

True that & add Sam Peter to the list too..

I do believe he is getting old but tbh he can last & not lose his power over 12 rounds at this age, so that should say something about his stamina & athleticism..

I've seen the first fight and all I was thinking that Wlad was tired of being the champion so was trying to lose.
