Canelo fought Floyd when he was still green, at a weight-drained 152 catchweight but since then he's improved and could now be considered in the prime of his career.

Floyd fought some big names, Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo but they were never in their prime, so the question is, if Khan pulls off the upset against a prime, non-weight drained Canelo at the peak of his career, is it fair to say that's actually a better fighter than any opponent Floyd Mayweather's been in the ring with?

I would say yes actually.

For three reasons:

1.) Khan is nowhere near as good as Floyd
2.) He has jumped two weight classes and it is even debatable as to how strong Khan is at 147.
3.) The guy he is fighting is world class

It would be a worldie win maybe one of the best by a British boxer ever. I would qualify this by saying that I believe this in the main due to a very strong belief that Khan will get absolutely smashed to smithereens.
