If Canelo manned up and fought him I'd actually be happy if he won the fight. I'd probably cheer for him simply because he'd be showing great coruage and taking such a big risk when he doesn't have to. it would be a great example for the divas and show what a true champ should be. -- Don't get me wrong I don't think he would win, I'd just cheer for him. Up until the last year or two I've always liked Canelo and would again if he showed the courage he built his reputation on by getting in there with GGG.

The moment he blasts his 5 punch combos on GGGs chin he wins the fight
GGG has garbage defense and Canelo is a pretty good counterpuncher
Canelos power will make GGG respect him and Canelo has a hell of a chin himself
So yea Id say Canelo knocks him out within 6 rounds

I'm not sure as of yet but I think I'm starting to lean towards Canelo, I know he is the better inside fighter and he won't have problems landing the heavy artillery from up close. I think the deciding factor is gonna come down to the fact that Canelo has been in fights, where as Golovkin really hasn't, as well as the fact that Golovkin's style does not age well and he's already 34.

At 155 i like conelo chances alot better...conelo has power and is a good countrrpuncher ....if conelo learned how to move and pop ,and throw combos at the right times ..hell have a great chance .....ggg only know how to come forward because that all he need to do.........at 160 ggg wins

If i was conelo with so much to lose ill go for a sanders fight that another belt at 160

Martin Murray went eleven rounds Lemeuix went eight with Golovkin ; both endured for a long time Murray went further because he used his feet so I KNOW Canelo goes the distance. Variables: those guys are middleweights by that I mean been fighting bigger men unlike Saul. (B) Golovkin talks about Mexican style but when Lemuiex challenged him to a brawl Golovkin decided to BOX -- if Canelo decides to trade and GGG declines and decides to be more technical and takes a conservative approach will that lack of pressure make a better Case for Alvarez in eyes of the Judges. (C) handspeed : this leans towards Canelo he might not hurt GGG but will get off on him earning him points ; all it takes are flurries in close rounds it sometimes comes down to one punch to steal the rounds.

Well those are my notes so far I'm giving Alvarez a real good shot here and will have a fuller assessment after Canelo vs. Khan.

Like Arum says, it's a massacre. That's why Canelo prefers to give up the belt and go into history as a duck

There's a reason Canelo doesn't want this fight, It's a mis-match. GGG would walk him down and stop Canelo in brutal fashion.

Canelo doesn't have the stamina to keep doing those kinds of combinations to keep Golovkin off of him. Even then, his power is okay; he's not really heavy handed, just more so explosive because of his speed. Moving up won't help him either with that. Canelo may have more "flashiness" to what he does, but Golovkin is on another level. I wouldn't bet against him.
