    New York - Keith Thurman (26-0, 22 KO's) made a statement to the media on hand - and to his opponent Shawn Porter (26-1-, 16 KO's) - about their fight on June 25th on Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Thurman told Porter, "I love you bro, but on June 25th I have to do my best to put you to sleep."

      that was some lame ass trash talking.

      you might as well just whipped out your flute/oboe/clarinet whatever fcking wind instrument thurman is playing nowadays and should have just gone full chuck mangione.

      that would have been more entertaining that this press conference.

            I like this fight but I don't like that one of these guys will have to take a loss...or both will have to take a draw.

            I think Thurman will win.

              Very tough fight for both guys. I'm giving edge to Porter

              I think that when Thurman can't knock you out he get's a little frustrated and seems to be available to hit in later rounds. Example Collazo, Guerrero. Porter may out work Thurman in this fight. Kell Brook had to hold Porter all night to keep him off him and whatever you may think of Kell Brook he's very big and strong at welterweight. It's an intriguing fight and unless Thurman shows me something I haven't seen I have to give edge to Porter by being the busier fighter all night.
