His foot speed may be average but he has always had fast hands and quick combinations. That is nothing new. Fast hands and accurate combinations took him to victories over Trout, Lara and Cotto. Canelo's fast hands, accurate combinations and two handed punching power will be a nightmare for Khan in my opinion. I don't think Khan will last more than a few rounds.

Yes his handspeed has always been good, but he looks faster now, i guess its because he is in his prime
He footwork looks better than it has in the past, he's trying to improve, practice makes perfect.
Khan's has a uphill battle, if he thinks Canelo will be slow or plodding like Maidana, then he's in for a rude awakening
Canelo seems to have taken this fight seriously, he's coming in light, as he knows Khan will be trying to run and fight on the backfoot.
If Khan makes it past 6 rounds thats accomplishment in itself
Canelo has always been fast in training, it's just that he can't always implement it in the ring. That's normal. The more experienced he gets, the more fluid and quick his responses become. I gotta give the guy credit for always improving and I enjoy watching his subtle advancements in every fight.
Setting aside the bull**** of this fight, I agree, Canelo looks very good. He seems to be improving with each fight noticeably and I fully expect Khan to get blown out of the water. I don't think Canelo has peaked yet and is actually underrated in the skills department.
