Why would Jake skew the numbers like that?

That's a few hundred thousand difference

This tells me that Boxing couldn't keep the Casual Audience from the Beyonce Stuff which is not good FOR THE SPORT IN GENERAL not just GGG and HBO

I would like to know what was the Ratings for the Beyonce stuff before that would be interesting to know

LMFAO at "Highest Rated Boxing Event Of 2016 ON HBO" talk about REACHING WTF?
How many of y'all even read the article??? It says the 1.325m average figure does NOT include non-subscribers who took advantage of the free weekend, and even that number is the most watched boxing event of 2016. Also the 1.325m figure is for the main event only if I understand it correctly.

I don't know, maybe his source was wrong. I can't find any source other than steve kim reporting 1.3 million viewers.

It iss not really about GGG though, not sure why GGG Fans feel the need to defend him when it is not about him. IMO it is more so about the Sport of Boxing and how fans are happy with getting 1 Million when back in the day when HBO was in Less Homes Lennox Lewis, Holyfield, Prince Naseem, these guys use to draw MILLIONS not 1 Million+

Boxing in General no struggles to pull in 1 Million consistently and somehow fans think this is good and it makes their fighter a "A-Side Fighter"

Yeah I just saw another source and the numbers don't add up. If it really did 1.08 then that's a pretty big dip from the 1.3mil he did his last HBO live fight (Monroe). Not terrible for HBO but not great for the GGG hype machine. Not sure why boxingscene are lying about the numbers thou SMH

So it did those numbers going up against UFC ppv and NBA playoffs? Usually that's an excuse for why Showtime numbers are so poor. I'd love to see what the HBO free-views were, this show could've got anywhere from 2mill or more. Compare that to Spence/Algeri at 1.38k on NBC.

I'm going to guess 9 million.

EDIT: Looked it up. I was close.
