I don't even care if he fight canelo you idiot. Canelo already has wins that surpass anything ggg has done. Fighting or not fighting ggg will not define canelo he is 25 with a better resume and a decade left in boxing. GGG is pushing 40 and done little and is running out of time hell i will settle for ggg stepping out his comfort zone of fighting no named bums and fight any legit name whether that means going up or down from 160 you choose but refusing to budge and staying putting fighting bums don't impress me maybe it does for you. LMAO

Translation: Since I don't like the MW Champion the entire division is trash. Even though one of the top 3 fighters at SMW was sparked by a journey and 154 is where everyone can keep their 0 land, where the best fighter there hasn't even won a world title.
In reality: MW **** on 154 and 168. There's beast at 160 we hardly even seen (Khurtsidze) lurking in the shadows. Murray and Strum hardly had a tough time cracking the Top ten of this so called stacked division called SMW.
And 154 is were the little boys hang out, hoping GGG moves up. Tell me how Tony Harrison starts his career as a MW but slowly turns too a JMW when it's time to fight top fighters.Comment

So you're admitting it's an imaginary title. You should delete this, if it's still here tomorrow morning I'm going to do you the honor and make it my first official signature.Comment

Lets educate the casual fans of the forum a little.
The concept of a lineal champion was developed by boxing fans dissatisfied by the tendency of each of the various sanctioning bodies (WBC, WBA, IBF, etc.) to recognize different champions, and in particular to strip a champion of his title for refusing to fight its top-ranked contender. Prior to the 1970s, this rarely happened; the National Boxing Association (NBA) and the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) sometimes recognized different champions, but there was usually only a short interval before one champion defeated the other. In this era, a title vacancy was generally filled by having a single-elimination tournament box-off between two or more top-ranked contenders. The lineal championship is intended as a return to that era. Several top boxers have specified holding the lineal championship as a personal accomplishment (e.g. Lennox Lewis[3]) or goal (e.g., Nate Campbell[1]).
