Than who, Ishida? I don't think so.

If one thing is for certain GGG win over Ishida is better than Canelo win over Kirkland.

      Ishida > Kirkland.

His heavyweight wins were against fighters w/ records of 3-2, 10-10-3, 5-7-2.

But I guess it's kinda impressive that GGG stopped a fighter who took punches from HWs and stayed up. Not like Ishida muscled up to HW either, he looked fairly flabby.

          Good boy, Here's some apples...

Jesus Christ. I get you wanna be a smartass but you made the wrong comparison using Marquez and Murray because I wasn't compare those 2. I was comparing Marquez and GGG. So that's a fail on your part already.

The point was pretty clear though.

Despite the loss to Bradley, I still had Manny ranked high in the division (#2 behind Floyd) so when Marquez beat him, Marquez beat the #2 fighter in his division.

Despite the loss to Martinez, I still ranked Murray high in the 160 division (#2) so when GGG beat him, he beat who I thought was the #2 fighter (other rankings had him high in his division as well).

Clearly the talent level isn't the same but relative to their division, they beat guys who were at/near the top of their division.

You're still comparing apples to oranges.

Murray likely should have won a split decision vs a shot out Martinez. I get it. But do you really think that would be ggg's best win? I mean, what has Murray gone on to do since? He's all shot out himself.

Most impressive thing he's done from my point of view.

Who Murray? Or all three that you mentioned? Would any of those guys beat Barrera or Ishida?

I had Murray #2/3 in the division when GGG beat him. So yes, I think it's his best win.

I'm not arguing it's a sexy name because it isn't. But he beat the #2/3 best guy in his division. What else am I supposed to ask for when guys in his division like Martinez, Cotto and Canelo didn't want to fight him.

All 3 of course. Theyd beat Ishida. Barrera is 2 divisions up, moot point. You really wanna keep this joke thread going?
